Are people becoming Tin Pot Soldiers?

A Tin Pot Solider by my definition is a person who has their own opinion and has to disagree with everything you say or never acknowledge your viewpoint and choose not to be agreeable. With society becoming ever focused on the individual rather than the community, it seems that everyone has an opinion. You can do something for someone or acknowledge their birthday for instance and they may say "Oh it's a little early" when you think at least you remembered. Also within a workplace you may notice something that is not right and when you bring it to the other person's attention they have to disagree or prove you wrong. No wonder the world is a bloody dog's breakfast, because nobody wants to take on accountability for their own actions and people seem to want to shirk responsibility. It really disturbs me when people who are doing the right thing are not being praised for their actions and society in general is going down the path of a rabble. The advent of mobile phones in my opinion are the pinnacle of rudeness as people believe they can use them wherever and whenever they want. Recently a person was able to get past elements of security by talking on their mobile phone and what rules if any are there for mobile phone usage in public. Tin Pot Soldiers seems to becoming more apparent in the world today and it seems that everyone has an opinion and nobody can agree on anything. Where has the decency and simply common courtesy gone? I really find the mass media a force that needs to be held into account. Television has trivialized events and people can turn on their television sets and watch the 60 mins or 30 mins of media propaganda that is before them as if it is supposed to be. With the world and people more becoming Tin Pot Soldiers it is no wonder the world is such a mess as look at the way society is going. There is just no accountability and responsibility for people and their own actions. This post is to get people thinking not to express a total opinion and have people disagree with it.
